Pinhole Photographer
To walk around City Palace in Jaipur, India is to wade through garbage, traffic, and people aggressively begging or enticing you to come into their shop. While that does not paint a pretty picture, they are elements which contribute to the fascinating atmosphere of the city. One afternoon, an older gentleman caught my attention. I followed him half a block to his pinhole camera street studio. The photographer was born in Jaipur, and like his Grandfather and Father before him, he developed his portraiture photography skills on the street.
